This course prepares candidates to teach the following courses: Adult, Infant, and Child CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator. The focus is on profi ciency in emergency first aid skills as well as proper classroom setup, skill preparation, administrative procedures, and equipment maintenance.
Candidates must pass a written test with a score of 80% or higher in order to receive an Instructor Authorization at the end of class.
PREREQUISITES
Fundamentals of Instructor Training and First Aid/CPR/AED Precourse Testing Session. Must be at least 16 years of age.
CERTIFICATIONS
Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED Instructor
Candidates must pass a written test with a score of 80% or higher in order to receive an Instructor Authorization at the end of class.
